Theater Room or as I like to call it.  The sophisticated man cave.

When finishing this room functionality was the number one priority.  Choosing a dark pallet limited any light that would detract from the movie watching experience.  The couches had to recline and be super comfy.  The design was all about functionality and my husband.  The ultra cool, masculine, metallic wallpaper was the perfect jumping off point.  We matched the dark gray in the wallpaper for the perfect dark gray for the paint.  A little pop of color in the modern Star Wars posters and the throw blankets completes this much anticipated and frequently used space.  Popcorn anyone?

This metallic, geometric wallpaper deserves a close up.  It is masculine and sophisticated at the same time.  We realize we "nailed" this one, once the room was finished we were watching a James Bond 007 and we spotted this wallpaper in the background of one of the scenes.  Nothing says sophisticated yet manly like James Bond.  I love that the blacks in the wallpaper pulls in the black from the sleek and comfortable, black, leather couches.  The dark gray matches the gray, painted walls.
